Troop 404 began in 1990, meeting in a house at the Southwest corner of the property of First Baptist Church in Pelham, AL.  They continued to meet in this house until 2000, when the current Scout House was built on the top of the hill on the Southeast corner of the church property.  First Baptist Church has always been a very supportive sponsor organization for our troop.

We began selling Christmas Trees as our primary fundraiser in 1993.  We are so grateful to the community for their continued support each year.

Over the years, the troop has gone on many high adventure trips: Philmont, Northern Tier, and Florida Sea Base, and many others.

So many parents and friends have helped lead the troop over the years; it would be impractical to list them all here.  However, special recognition is given to the following men, who sacrificed a great deal of time and energy to serve as Scoutmaster:
