NOTE: The following list is not meant to be all-inclusive, but a minimum suggested list
- Medical Form (age 11-39 Class II, Age 40+ Class III)
- Scout Uniform (Class A) and troop t-shirt
- Plenty of Socks, Shorts, Underwear, T-shirts (I recommend at least one change of clothes for each day, two or three additional t-shirts, and some extra socks.)
- For Adventure Valley, I recommend going to a thrift store and purchasing a pair of shorts and t-shirt that can be thrown away after use. They will be extremely dirty.
- Shoes/ Boots (water shoes or something that can get wet, plus one additional pair)
- Scout Cap/Hat
- Sunglasses
- Pajamas (some type of sleep clothes)
- Laundry Bag (A mesh bag is really good to let the clothes air out and dry). Walmart has some.
- Long Sleeve Shirt and Long Pants
- Sleeping Bag or Bed Roll (I also recommend a twin sheet for the bed), a warm weather sleeping bag or fleece liner sleeping bag is great.
- Pillow
- Raingear/Jacket
- Towels (2 or 3)
- Washcloth (2 or 3)
- Soap/Shampoo
- Toothpaste/Toothbrush
- Deodorant
- Flashlight (with one set of extra batteries)
- Pocket Knife/Totin’ Chip
- Insect Repellent (Non-aerosol)
- Swim Trunks
- Sunscreen (Non-aerosol)
- Boy Scout Handbook
- Notebook/ pens/ pencils
- Bible/ prayer book
- Work Gloves
- Water Bottle
- Merit Badge Books and worksheets
- Small (Day use) backpack
- Footlocker (Walmart has a hard plastic one that will keep things dry and you can use a lock on it) or large bag/suitcase for all of the gear
