Troop 404 allows a certain portion of the money raised through the BSA Popcorn Sale to be placed in an individual account for the Scout. When the Scout needs new equipment, food fees, etc, he may use the money in his personal account. The purpose of the personal scout account is to provide an opportunity for scouts to benefit directly from participating in fundraising activities and learn money management skills at the same time. When the Scout decides to use the money that is in his account, he should submit a copy of the Scout Fund Transfer Form to the Scoutmaster.
