As a website admin, I’m trying to make it easier for troop leaders to add photos to this website.  Since the troop also has a Facebook page, I’ve upgraded this website to make it easy to embed Facebook photo and video galleries on this site. If you are a registered adult troop leader, we can give you privileges to add photos on the troop’s Facebook page and link those photos to the website.  (Photos must not reveal personal information such as full name/address/phone number of youth).  Please contact me if you have any questions.

Troop 404 recently took the opportunity to honor Scoutmaster Alex Brumfield for his 3 years service.  The Brumfields are in the process of relocating to Georgia and all will be greatly missed.  The boys presented Alex with a plaque in recognition of his dedication and a framed portrait of an eagle with the scripture verse Isaiah 40:31.

We had a great time at Camp Sequoya this year!  We had a total of 22 boys and adult leaders spend all or part of the week with us.  What a great opportunity for us to grow stronger as a troop!  I’m excited about the year to come!  To see some pictures from the week, click here.

Welcome to the Troop 404 Website.  This site allows our scouts to:

• View the troop calendar
• Get information about upcoming events
• Review a list of “What To Bring” to Summer camp or campouts
• Subscribe to the site and receive e-mail updates when new articles are posted
• Comment on articles

The site also allows our Scoutmaster and other leaders to:

• Add articles
• Share Photos from events
• Post information about upcoming events
• Write articles for the troop and guests

We are a very active troop and are often on the go!  We typically:

• Camp out one weekend per month,
• Attend camp each summer,
• Have three Tuesday night troop meetings each month, and
• Participate in several other events like hikes, civic events, advancement days, volunteering, and more!

These are exciting days in the troop! We have several boys that have joined the troop recently. We are also camping with the Webelos from Pack 404 this weekend to “show them the ropes” (literally). We look forward to having several of these boys cross over from the Pack to the Troop next Spring.
